Jennifer was born in Stuttgart, she is based as a filmmaker, creator and dancer in Zurich. After her ballet education at the Académie de Danse Classique de Princesse Grace in Monaco, she graduated from Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Rotterdam. In order to deepen her knowledge of other art forms, she continued her studies at the Zurich University of the Arts where she graduated with a MA in Transdisciplinary Arts in 2014.
Fascinated by riddles and puzzles Jennifer loves to spend hours in front of the computer drawing, designing, editing, coding and solving problems. Excited by new technologies and software she loves the challenge of staying on top of the game.
However, because of her background in dance, Jennifer can't sit still for too long. This is when she seeks the opportunity to work on a film set - a surrounding similar to the theater, where the crew works intensely in sort of a parallel universe and reality disappears for a while.
Working as a script supervisor is challenging as well, brain-wise. This is where the puzzling comes in again. Shooting a film is a process split in pieces: scene by scene is shot one by one but all the parts need to fit together in the story of the film. Having that big picture in mind and keeping the overview of the whole process, while working in close contact with all departments on the set, makes it an exciting challenge.
